Step by step

Follow these steps in order.

  1. Allow app installsOn your Fire TV go to Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer options, and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources (or Install unknown apps for Downloader).
  2. Install DownloaderFrom the home screen search for Downloader and install it from the Amazon Appstore.
  3. Enter our codeOpen Downloader and type the code shown below, then press Go to download the player app.
  4. Sign inOpen the player app and sign in with the login details from your welcome email.

Common questions

 

I cannot find Developer options.

Go to Settings, My Fire TV, About, and click your Fire TV name 7 times. Developer options will appear.

The download stopped.

Check your internet connection and try the code again. If it still fails, contact support.
